Recently, Mr. Vicente Reynal, Chairman and CEO ofIngersoll Rand Group, visited the Asia Pacific region again, visiting factoriesin Busan, Seoul, South Korea and Boshan, China, spending time with localemployees and empowering local business expansion. Ingersoll Rand has beenoperating in the Asia Pacific region for more than a hundred years and ownsmany iconic brand products in the industry. This visit gave support andencouragement to local factories and teams, and also implemented IngersollRand's mission of "Trust us to make life better."
Mr. Vicente Reynal's first stop was the KoreaIndustrial Technology and Services Factory in Busan, South Korea, where hevisited the Busan factory's scale, facilities, machines and productionconditions with Mr. Mike Weatherred, Ingersoll Rand Global Senior VicePresident and President of IRX Strategy and Business Development. Alsoaccompanying the visit were Mr. Li Yi, Ingersoll Rand Global Senior VicePresident and President of Industrial Technology and Services Asia Pacific, andMr. Mark Xu, Head of North American Post-Processing Operations, and Henry Mark,Head of Technology R&D, Ingersoll Rand Industrial Technology and Services,and other senior group leaders.
Ingersoll Rand's industrial technologyand service factory in Busan has more than 30 years of history and technology.Its products include refrigerated dryers, adsorption dryers, air filters, plateheat exchangers, etc. It has multi-dimensional advantages and development spacein the post-processing field that integrates technology, equipment, experience,and innovation.
Compressed air, as the fourth energy source, needs to avoid water,oil,impurities, etc. during production, so the requirements for post-processingbecome more stringent as production improves. Ingersoll Rand's furtherexpansion and investment in post-processing business is another powerful layoutin the fields of people's livelihood and industry, which also means that thepost-processing business in the entire Asia-Pacific region will usher in a newdevelopment opportunity, form a new strategic system, and practice a newstrategic height.
At the second stop, Mr. Vicente Reynal,Mr. Mike Weatherred and the Asia Pacific leadership visited the work site inSeoul, South Korea, and held meetings with the three business units ofIngersoll Rand: Industrial Technology and Services, Power Tools and MaterialHandling, and Precision and Science Technology, to exchange business andprospects. This was also the first visit of the CEO to South Korea and NorthAsia after the establishment of the new Ingersoll Rand.
The Ingersoll Rand factory in Boshan,China, was the third stop for Mr. Vicente and his team. Following the visit in2019, the return visit to Boshan four years later further demonstratedIngersoll Rand's emphasis and attention on the Chinese market in its overallstrategy, reflecting the potential and attractiveness of the Chinese market.
During the factory tour, Mr. VicenteReynal learned that with the continuous introduction of new products and newbusinesses, the production layout and capabilities of the Boshan factory haveundergone surprising changes, which can better meet customer needs.
